Cyberpunk 2077 hotfix 1.06 release notes

'Tis the season for last-minute patches.

What’s the skinny? CD Projekt Red pushed out a small update just in time for the holidays. Update 1.06 comes with one quest bug fix, improved memory management for consoles, and for PC, they removed the 8 MB file limit for saved files.

The update is small, but I have played Cyberpunk 2077 quite a bit since their last update and haven’t noticed many bugs. The only recent bug I have seen is corpses floating above the ground after killing them. I have only seen that once so, no big deal. The game runs incredibly smooth on my PC and looks incredible.

Hotfix 1.06 is available on PC and consoles! Here is the full list of changes:

Quests

  • Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.

Console-specific

  • Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.

PC-specific

  • Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
