Zoom down for most of the morning for some but a fix is being deployed

Slow start to an online school year as Zoom works to resolve a wide spread outage.

What’s the skinny? Zoom has been down for many in the U.S as well as here in Ontario. The video conferencing platform has acknowledged the issue and has been working on a fix.

According to the Zoom status page, the Zoom IT staff have identified the issue and are in the process of deploying a fix. The problem comes at a time when many teachers and students across the U.S are attempting to get the new school year underway.

We are continuing to roll out a fix for the remaining users still impacted. Users are also unable to sign up for paid accounts, upgrade, or manage their service on the Zoom website.
