MPOW M30 true wireless earbud review

Great sounding wireless earbuds that won't break the bank.

So, how good are one of Amazons top-rated budget wireless earbuds? Here in Canada, MPOW M30’s are $59.99 on Amazon with over 2400 reviews and a 4.5-star rating. According to Amazon reviews, they are one of the best budget earbuds on the market right now. So I bought a pair to test them out for myself, and as it turns out, they’re, in my opinion, worth every penny and deserving of their high approval rating on Amazon.

The sound quality of these true wireless earbuds is, in my opinion, very good. I am no audiophile, but to me, the MPOW M30s have a rich, full sound, with plenty of bass and clarity. They also for the price, pack a lot of features, such as a 5 hour listening time with 20 more hours waiting in the case, Bluetooth 5.0, IPX7 waterproof, touch control, which works well and is easy to use. They also fit nicely in my ears. I found them very comfortable, and they block a lot of outside noise.

I also found them to pair very quickly with my phone, and I could walk away from my phone into another room like the kitchen and still be able to listen to my music. This is something I was surprised by since my last pair from like 2007-2008 would cut out if my phone wasn’t directly in front of my face. Those were very expensive, and the technology just wasn’t there.

As a runner, I have always wanted to have a wireless experience during my run, but I was put off by my old wireless earbuds failing to deliver a good experience. The technology has come a long way since then, however, and the MPOW M30’s are quite capable of giving you a great listening experience while running.

Key Features

  • 25 Hours of Punchy Bass.
Each MPOW M30 true wireless earbud provides 5 hours of playtime or talk-time on one single full charge. The portable charging case gives you an extra 20 hours of listening time. The PU( Polyurethane)composite diaphragms of drivers deliver punchy bass with richer details.
  • Aerospace-grade Technology.
MPOW M30 Bluetooth 5.0 earbuds adopt rigid-flex printed circuit boards which are widely used on aerospace, military, and medical. This technology greatly reduces signal interference and brings more stable connection, stronger signal transmission. No dropouts, no skips even you put your cell phone on your both sides’ pants pockets.
  • IPX7 Waterproof.
Better sealing workmanship, materials, and structure make Mpow M30 Bluetooth headphones still work perfectly after hitting by sweat, light rain or accidental splashes. Enjoy music and workouts outdoors even on rainy days!
  • Ergonomic In-ear Design.
90% dot-shaped true wireless earbuds do not have ear fins, but Mpow M30 has. Ear fins in 2 different sizes (small and medium ) greatly improve stability. The snug-fitting ear-tips in 3 different sizes(small, medium and large) can better block out outside noise for more crystal-clear calls and more powerful bass.
  • Touch it to Control.
Play or pause, skip tracks, adjust volume, take or end or reject a call, activate Siri or Google Assistant. All is under your control. You can also choose L-earbud or R-earbud to be as the mono mode when you are walking outsides, driving or commuting on bus or subway, you need to use either ear to be aware of surroundings.

Another great feature of these earbuds is that you can use either one on its own as they connect independently of each other. If you are someone who likes to wear one at a time, say while at work, you could use one until the battery runs out (approximately 5hours) and then put it in the case to charge and pop the other one in to continue listening to your favorite tunes.

The one downside to these is if you are someone who takes a lot of calls, especially for work these might not be for you. The call quality isn’t bad, you will be able to hear the person calling very clearly but if you are in a noisy environment, the caller will be able to hear everything around you. This isn’t a problem for me as I work in a quiet space and do most of my communicating via email or text. During my testing, while outside on my deck, the person I had called said they could hear me just fine but again that’s a quiet location without a lot going on around me.

MPOW M30 True wireless earbuds case

Another minor gripe I have with these earbuds is trying to get them out of the case. The lid closes very easily when attempting to get the buds out. The magnets work well, and they stay in the case nicely, but my big sausage fingers have trouble getting them out, and when I am trying to coax them out of their respective slots, the lid closes extremely easily. I am calling this a minor gripe as with practice, I have gotten better at removing them from the case. It was worth mentioning, however, because if you have big hands like me, you may go through some initial frustration as I did. It’s also possible I am just an uncoordinated dork.

Overall for the price, I can see why these are so popular on Amazon right now. The seller had a coupon available at the time I purchased my set, which made them an even better value. If you are in the market for a pair of good true wireless earbuds, these are worth checking out.
